Kids Play PD Day - April 7SummerBlast (for Parkway Employees Only)This is a program for children of Parkway employees participating in professional development on April 7. Parkway is pleased to provide an opportunity for your elementary-age children (Grades K-5) to participate in fun and hands-on learning on April 7 while you attend the Parkway professional development day. The day will include rotating activities such as legos, arts and crafts, science and more! Participants will be grouped by age and supervised by Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed instructors. Program Hours: 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Program Location: Parkway Central Middle School Lunch: You will need to send a sack lunch with your child. There is no cost to attend, but advanced registration is required - register by April 2 to secure your spot. How to Register: If you have utilized this system in the past OR if you already have a login for the Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed online registration system, you do not need to create a new account (use your current login and password). If you do not have a login and need to create an account, click the' Sign In' button on the top of this page. You will create an account for your family and will need to add your child(ren) to the account before registering for Kids Play PD Day. Once logged in, select the 'Enroll Now' button. You will be prompted to enter a passcode in order to continue with registration. The passcode was provided by the Parkway Teaching, Learning and Accountability office when you signed up for the professional development day. Make sure you go to your cart and check out. Notes: This is a parent/child class and requires an adult to attend with the child. If you have more than one child that will attend the class, you will need to register each child individually. The discounted rate for the additional child will automatically be applied at checkout. Infants may attend this class if they are not mobile and the child stays in a sling or infant car seat. Stepping into Summer 2026 (3-5 yrs. old NOT going into Kindergarten)Partners in Play Summer ClassesWeek 1: June 8 - 11 Splish, Splash, Ocean Bash! Dive into an ocean adventure filled with sea creatures, water play, songs, and stories. Campers will explore life under the sea through art, sensory activities, and imaginative play—no snorkels required! Week 2: June 15- 18 Little Scientists at Work! Put on your lab goggles (pretend ones!) as we mix, build, test, and discover. Children will explore simple science concepts through hands-on experiments, curiosity-driven play, and lots of “WOW!” moments. Week 3: June 22- 25 Don’t Let the Pigeon Run This Camp! Inspired by Mo Willems’ beloved Pigeon books, this week is full of storytelling, humor, dramatic play, and art. Campers will laugh, read, draw, and maybe even write their own silly Pigeon adventures. Note: These classes are for children who are 3-5 years old (not going to Kindergarten) to attend without parents. You have the option to sign up for one or more weeks. Please send a snack to school for your child. Class takes place at the Parkway Early Childhood Center 14605 Clayton Road Ballwin, MO 63011 Fee: $150 per child per week; $130 each additional sibling.
