A space camp, maybe a science camp, no an art camp.... Let's do them all in one week! Each day will have a different theme and topic. Let's try out some of our camper's favorite activities from previous summers all in one week!

Wild Weather Workshop | 9 a.m.-12:15 p.m. | Grades 1-5 | River Bend Elementary | $109 (no class June 19)
Step right up and join the Weather Wonders Workshop, where we dive headfirst into the most exciting, beautiful, and sometimes wild things the sky throws at us! Everyday will be filled with hands on activities that will help us understand the weather we experience including it's most dangerous and breathtaking innovations.

Jurassic Adventures | 12:45-4 p.m. | Grades 1-5 | River Bend Elementary | $109 (with Aftercare $145 - 4-5 p.m.) (no class June 19)
Get ready for your very own jurassic adventure, where the world's greatest beasts roar back to life! This class is a high-energy, totally immersive expedition into the age of dinosaurs and everything that came along with it. Explore your favorite dinos and learn about some you may have never heard of. Either way, we are sure to have a roaring good time in this hands on expidetion through the Mesozoic Era.

Let's explore some famous inventions and their creators! Did you know, a lot of inventions are based on things that we can find all around us in nature. Let your creativity soar as we explore amazing inventions from the past, as well as some unique cretions of your own!

PARKWAY CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL

Building, designing, and testing projects such mousetrap cars, lowest bidder (towers), design a house, and junkbox wars. Meant for those who like to build.

Watercolor Workshop | 9 a.m.-12:15 p.m. | Grades 6-8 | Parkway Central MS | $109 (no class June 19)
A week full of all things watercolor! We will practice techniques and hone skills in one of the most accessible mediums in art.

Orchestra: Development of Skills | 9 a.m.-12:15 p.m. | Grades 6-8 | Parkway Central MS | $109 (no class June 19)
This Orchestra class continues development of skills to play string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass) in a group, building fundamental skills in posture, bowing, and music reading, while also covering music theory, rhythm, and playing diverse musical styles. It's a performance-based course focused on ensemble playing, encouraging teamwork, and musical expression. Students signing up for this course need to be enrolled in their middle school orchestra program.

Welcome to Middle School! We can't wait to meet you. This is a course designed for students who will be entering 6th grade next year. This course gives students the opportunities to get an overview of the sixth grade curriculum, learn expectations, meet new sixth graders, talk with current middle school students, work on communication skills and much more.Please note: This class is part of the Parkway Summer School program and is only open to students who attend Parkway schools and all other students living within the district. This class is open to any Parkway students attending any Parkway Middle School during the 25-26 school year.

Block Printing Workshop | 12:45-4 p.m. | Grades 6-8 | Parkway Central MS | $109 (no class June 19)
We will learn how to block print and how to design for block printing for a week of printing fun! This course would have a fee to cover printing materials.

Step Into the Spotlight Musical Theatre Dance | 12:45-4 p.m. | Grades 6-8 | Parkway Central MS | $109 (no class June 19)
In this musical theatre dance class, students learn fun moves from Broadway-style shows, including jazz and character dance. After learning different routines, students work together to create their own choreography. This class builds confidence, creativity, teamwork, and lets students shine while dancing and performing in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Drawing Adventures | 12:45-4 p.m. | Grades 6-8 | Parkway Central MS | $109 (no class June 19)
This fun and engaging enrichment class is designed specifically for middle school students who want to explore and enhance their drawing skills. Whether you're a total beginner or already love to sketch, you'll gain confidence and master new techniques in a supportive and inspiring environment.
